I am curious as to why the dimwits decided to ditch John Edwards.

I think even some liberal democrats are sickened by the idea of this oh-so-neatly coiffed pretty boy cheating on his beloved, liberal wife who has terminal breast cancer.

Now who didn’t see this coming after Mrs. Edwards called her “pathetic”? I’m sure Mr. Edwards will love having to have the new little one in the will and weekly child support payments. IMHO she might’ve kept it secret out of respect and love for John but I don’t think the same sentiment is extended to Elizabeth.

Long before this story broke, I considered Edwards to be one of the biggest empty suits in Politics.

The guy is a trial lawyer who made lots of money on phony (in my opinion) malpractice litigation. He (and many others like him- again in my opinion) is one of the main reasons for the increase in health costs.

The guy has no character and this episode should close the book on this creep.

women stand by dirtbag husbands because of children, marriage is meaningful, more than where hubby has placed his anatomy. Besides, she doesn’t want to give Rielle what she wants....John’s freedom.

John will pay child support no matter what, and after Liz passes, the guilt will eat him up...........

Strangely interesting. For some reason so is the Jon & Kate Plus 8 and one mistress story.

I heard Elizabeth say, she only wanted her husband to be faithful

Right. And if he cheated, maybe she could forgive him..But what if it turns out he produced a love child that he will have to support for 20 years and leave money for in a will, is she still going to live the rest of her life with him?

It will make her look callow, and that she mostly cares about his big house and money; like she is nothing more than another cynical politician.. Thats what it will look like.

Yeah, married men will tell you how much they love you, but they run home to mama when they get caught. Meow

Point of order; we should not confuse married men, more specifically, men, with John Edwards.
