The combat photographer who took that picture has to be cringing (these guys are awesome photographers). It is an awful composition. There is something about the good ones that the White House does not want you to see.
I’ve seen planes used for aerial photography for various airline ads. They’re usually done from a fairly large plane with a glass “blister” on the side specifically for that type of photography.
