Nah, that would be Medusa I if she was on board. Or does Hillary already have that as her plane’s call sign?

The point is, every manufactured “scandal” that occurred during the Bush years “went all the way to the executive office” according the Democrats running the press. In the Clinton, and now Obama years, nothing goes past the gardener.

FReeRepublic is light years ahead of every other news source.
The "Venus 1" call sign of AF(x) was probably from "Venus One" communications
which was apparently linked to the script of the movie,
"taking off", caught by FReepers above in second plane terrorizing New Yorkers.
Best guesses for the Flight Manifest might be below:
" GOODING, HOWARD IN LUCAS' 'RED TAILS': Actors join Ne-Yo, Method Man, Nate Parker and more in Tuskegee Airmen film.
Oscar winner Cuba Gooding Jr. and nominee Terrence Howard are the latest actors to join George Lucas' upcoming film "Red Tails," about the young African American WWII pilots known as the Tuskegee Airmen.
The duo round out the previously cast Bryan Cranston, Ne-Yo, Method Man, 90210's Tristan Wilds, Nate Parker and Elijah Kelley, among others."
" Whats better than a historic film based on the Tuskegee Airmen
.
the answer is a cast that rivals that of recent blockbusters including Dreamgirls, Stomp The Yard and the forthcoming flick Fighting.
Noted producer/talent George Lucas has put together a diverse cast for the anticipated World War II action/adventure Red Tails that not only includes Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter Ne-Yo but both Terrence Howard and Hip Hop veteran Method Man!
The trio, noted for their roles in other films including Stomp The Yard and Hustle & Flow will be joined by Cuba Gooding Jr., Bryan Cranston, Nate Parker, Elijah Kelly, Jesse Williams, Tristan Wilds (90210, The Wire), David Oyelowo and Lee Teregesen to name a few.
In the event that the Tuskegee Airmen were overlooked in your history textbook, as they often are breezed over, the group of young men from Tuskegee, Alabama became the first African American fighter pilots in the U.S. Military. In fact, their planes featured red painted tails thus the title Red Tails.
George Lucas, also known for Star Wars, recently conveyed excitement over the forthcoming picture:
Ive been wanting to do Red Tails for 20 years, and weve finally got the means to showcase the skill of the Tuskegee pilots, Lucas tells Variety. Were working on techniques which will give us the first true look at the aerial dogfighting of the era.

" Cast Announced For Lucas' 'Red Tails'
LOS ANGELES - Actors Cuba Gooding Jr. and Terrence Howard will star in Lucasfilm's upcoming World War II saga "Red Tails," a drama is based on the Tuskegee Airmen.

“The same office that requested it when Bush 43 was elected. Also the same office that requested it when Clinton was elected.”
An office is an intangible.
A person “requested” the mission.
That person had to have a lot more “juice” than Louis Caldera.

That person was probably a medium to low grade clerk that works in the office.

Your focus is on the “approval.”
The question is who “requested.”
No Air Force general can move Air Force One without the knowledge of the White House. There was a thread here the week this happened and a FReeper (sorry I forget his/her name) posted the regs.

There is another article that says those planes from the AL ANG are on loan to the DC ANG. The question that needs to be asked is why are they in DC?

I can tell you never worked around the government bureaucracy.
The words, “initiator” , “requestor” and “approver” have very specific meanings.
In order to schedule this mission, there were probably a dozen, or more, “approvers as the "request" moved down and then back up the chain of command.”
Caldera had final “approval” of somebody’s “request.”
The point I'm making is that someone had enough juice to “request” a $350,000 flight mission.
How many people in the White House have $350,000 in their budget to spend on a joyride?
The key to understanding this fiasco is understanding how the budgets and the bureaucracy work.

“What is dangerous about flying 150 feet above the highest obstacle?”
If you have an emergency, you don’t have enough altitude (and time) to react and perform emergency procedures. Refer to the recent US Airways ditching in the Hudson River. The guy was climbing through 3,200 feet when he hit the birds and his engines flamed out. That barely gave him enough time to find a spot to put the plane on. That was a small Airbus. A gigantic 747 at 150 feet AHO does not stand a chance if its engines quit.
In the Army we did a lot of low level and nap-of-the-earth flying. But that was over unpopulated areas. A heavy airplane crashing somewhere over lower Manhattan would be - and has been - a catastrophe.

The point I'm making is that someone had enough juice to request a $350,000 flight mission. The requester was most likely a sub committee of the presidential transition team. I worked for a vendor dealing with Executive Office of the President in 1993 supplying computers and software. I PERSONALLY built the first Mac that went into the White House for Hillary. I spent many long hours dealing with the GSA and other departments within the EOP during the Clinton transition. Bonehead things often just fell across my desk that were clearly just copies of things requested at the beginning of Bush 41. Computers and things that weren't even made any more. Obviously, just rubber stamped.

Louis Caldera was obviously just following orders from upstairs. No not that far upstairs! Think faux Messiah with a small “M”.
To: UCANSEE2
I think the reason only one photo was released, will be because the “subject” of most of the photos or film will be AF1 flying in close formation with the “Red Tail” jet.
That was the entire point of the flyover, IMHO. Probably to put at the end of the “Red Tails” movie.

Why indeed.
Somebody needs to ask the WH about ANY connection between AF1 and Red Tails.
Get the denial on the record.
We also need complete manifests of all passengers, and all of the photos/film taken of AF1 and the F-16 red tail on that day.
