From the link you supplied I gleaned three more pics of the red tailed F-16 w/AF-1 in addition to the one that has been posted before. Two are very pixel heavy so I will just post links to each. This should put to rest the "trick of the light" explanation that has been put forth for the first "red tail" pic.
