Mother's Day has a special poignancy for our women in uniform stationed overseas. The holiday is both a celebration of the joys and duties of parenthood, and a reminder of the sacrifices made by our military families.

From the title I thought it was going to be about Nacy Pelosi going to Iraq to be with the troops on Mother's Day, since she emits that warm nurturing aura. But I quickly came back to reality and realized that she went there not as a surrogate mother, but as a politician trying to save her hide in the face of a scandal.
