Hundreds of illegal immigrants armed with knives and crowbars swarm round Calais
Daily Mail ^ | May 11, 2009

Just half a mile from the ferry terminal in Calais, a UK-bound lorry driver at the weekend makes the mistake of slowing down to a crawl on the A26 Autoroute des Anglais dual carriageway.

At a signal from their fixers, around 100 illegal migrants arise from the wooded verge where they have been concealed and try to swarm aboard the vehicle, and others behind, desperate to find somewhere inside or underneath they could stow away to reach the UK.

So intent are they to get to what they see as a land of easy asylum, council housing and generous benefits that they risk being crushed by the trucks' wheels. Some carry crowbars or knives to try to prise open a chink in the lorries' defences.

This time the traffic speeds up again and none gets aboard. The migrants melt back into the woodland to await the next chance of an ambush. In a nearby industrial area, on the Rue des Garennes, a dozen stowaways were discovered last week hiding inside an empty tanker.

Workers were about to fill it with concentrated sulphuric acid when they heard muffled cries coming from within. Another few seconds and the migrants, Afghans and Kosovans, would have been horribly burnt to death.

It's just another week in the relentless assault on Britain's borders.

And where are the French police? Is it their policy to look the other way and hope the problem gets to Britain?

Make all government aid, assistance and benefits to certified citizens only.

Why do we allow someone to come here or into UK and tap into the free benefits just because they can?

It is absurd...

Last night I watched a British made movie from 1966. It's a cult classic and I have been waiting to see this again for decades.
It takes place in London and the main character drives a Rolls Royce Convertible and always has the top down, including in some 'seedy areas' where he parks overnight. His Rolls was never touched. Annnd not one 'immigrant' was in sight.
Yes, it was a movie but my point is, it shows how England has changed. And NOT for the better. Oh, the movie, 'Blow Up'(1). Starring David Hemmings (who?) and Vanessa Redgrave.

(1) there was a US remake with John Travolta, 'Blow Out'. Good, but the original is better IMO.

Review of 'Camp of the Saints' at Amazon.com"

This book is so politically incorrect that I admire Amazon.com for actually carrying it.

Written in the early 1970s, this book looks beyond the cold war to a North-South confrontation in which European civilization is unilaterally morally disarmed. The thesis is simple: suppose a million starving people from the Ganges actually took Western rhetoric of compassion, explotiation, etc., to heart, and comandeered, en masse, shipping, with the intention of moving to the shores of France? (Raspail, of course, is French.) Would anyone stop them? The imagery employed is interesting.

The title comes from Revelation, Chapter 20, and refers to the forces of evil laying seige to the camp of the saints, here meant to be the nations of the West. "The thousand years are over..." is chanted from Third World lips, harking to the millenial reign of Christ, as well as to the millenial domination of Europe over the globe. Raspail has the Vatican, World Council of Churches, and other organs of what he saw as Western liberal compassion try to feed the Armada, as it sails around the Cape. The bodies of their would-be benefactors are cast into the sea. The characters who oppose, with violence, the Armada are named with names like Constantine Drasages and Luke Notaras, namesakes of the last Byzantine Emperor and Admiral. They are portrayed as villans in the media; one of the more thoughtful leftists, fashionably in support of opening up France's shores, but cynical enough to see the potential results, reflects on the parallels between Byzantium's fate and that of the West. The author's point is that any who dare to say that 'white' civilization has a right to exist are branded racists and cast out of the pale of polite society.

The narrative is set up as a flashback. The Armada is about to disgorge its human cargo in Provence as we begin. An old man, M. Calgues, awaits them, Mozart playing in the background, after setting what he expects to be his last supper among the living. From there, we go back to the beginning, in India, as a Western cleric preaches quasi-liberation theology to the masses. Along the way, as the news spreads over the world, we digress, looking at Manhattenites holing up in skyscrapers as the spectre of race riots beckon, and at Russian troops on the Manchurian border contemplating the human waves gathering to wash over them. The central question of the book is this: will the West (including Russia - more properly, the North), when (not if) confronted with de facto occupation of national territories by Third World people, coming to live, but not to assimilate, use violence to save itself? Is there left in Euro-American civilization a will to live that is strong enough to pull a trigger? The stark question is answered in one of two possible ways by the concluding chapter. This astringent book, whether you agree with Raspail's views or not, demands thoughtful attention to the questions posed. How will we deal with population/immagration issues? Is our culture and way of life worth fighting for? -Lloyd A. Conway

France, Britain and her offspring (including the United States), Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and the rest of the Western democracies have virtually the same political structure. On the left, there is a moderately socialist, anti-nationalist, anti-military, PC party, which is named the Democrats in the U.S., Labour in Britain, Liberals or NDP in Canada, and Social Democrats in continental Europe. Their opposition is a party that is mercantilist, though sometimes using pro-economic freedom rhetoric, as internationalist as the leftists but more pro-defense, and not willing to boldly challenge PC dogma. In America, they are the Republicans; in Canada and Britain, Conservatives; and in Germany and Italy, Christian Democrats. The "right" party when in power changes or repeals little of the legislation passed when the "left" party is in power. After the "right" party leaves office for one reason or another, such as a (once) no-win war in Iraq and a severe economic downturn causing Republican defeats in 2006 and 2008. The leftists return to power and push the envelope again on business regulation, increased taxes, multiculturalism, etc.

No one leader, not even such admired figures as Ronald Reagan, Pope John Paul II, or Margaret Thatcher, broke this dialectic. Unless a true opposition party arises in Western Europe, the U.S., and the white Commonwealth nations, there is no hope for Western civilization and the white race, humanly speaking.

Do you mean to tell me that a book like Camp of the Saints has not been banned in France and Britain??? Surely this is an oversight.

Yes, that was a neat movie. I remember that the wind always seemed to be blowing. I lived in England 40 years ago, and it has badly changed, a lot, through socialism and PC. The US is going to change a lot in the next 10 years, for the same reason.

You are generally correct, but not completely. Thatcher actually reversed a lot of socialist cr*p.

Yes, that is exactly their policy.

France is a beautiful country, mon ami, but when you go there, you should realize that the cops are slow, lazy, and not exactly gutsy.

If you get into trouble, they will have you fill out a form on the day thereafter, and then they will do their duty, which to them means getting the report into the correct file cabinet drawer.
