Very good I Buried MY Guns, kudos on being blessed in two ways: living in Texas and a Texan wife. Now to prepare ourselves for what's coming and to do it soon. It's going to get worse, much worse.

We're only kidding ourselves to ignore what's building as you saw first hand. When your property is damaged or your life threatened over a poster or political stand and nothing is done by those who are to Protect and Serve then it's time to organize and stand ready.

I am indeed trying to prepare for the worst; the writing is on the wall, and you'd have to be a blind Coelocanth to miss the message.

I live inside the loop in Houston. My 'hood is nice, but close by are low-end folks who crave free stuff. During the last hurricane some of them made inroads here. My neighbors are nice but have absolutely no clue about this risk, and it saddens me that they will die in a social upheaval. And while I am overall a helpful, sharing person, there's no way I'm gonna lend out one of my guns just because an acquaintance had a "come to Jesus moment" at the 11th hour with a criminal trying to steal their stuff.

When Palin's church was torched with children inside, the press was missing in action (somehow I imagine the press would have been all over this if Obama's church were torched).

I started hearing about many other incidents where loyal Democrats were being physically and emotionally threatened for supporting Hillary.

When interparty fratricide begins, that's when it is in trouble. A house divided against itself cannot stand.

The Left has gone over the edge. My wish for them is to GO, WITH THE ACCELERATOR STUCK, Further to the Left!

I'm another naturalized Texan that grew up in the Bay Area. This weekend, I celebrated my 33rd anniversary of graduating from Gonzaga University, which was facilitated by a 4 year Army ROTC scholarship.

I went to high school at Castro Valley HS, about 15 miles south of Berkeley. It is the very same school that Rachel Maddow went to...nothing further need be added.

I will say that my last two months in HS were an absolute hell, when I divulged in April 1972 that I had won this fantastic scholarship. There were a number of perjoratives directed my way, very few of them printable.

I've never been inclined to return for a reunion, preferring to save my $$$ for my college reunions in Spokane.

It’s easier to be a liberal when the Republicans have power. Now there is no one left to blame. Remember, these people have spent much of their life opposing the government. It’s very hard to turn that off.

I'm having a ton of fun, gently tossing jibes at my liberal friends when they complain about the lack of bipartisanship.

My standard retort is "Thanks to Specter, you guys now own everything. You don't need us. Quit complaining and do your job!"

I couldn't help but believe that it was the sticker on our rear window that singled us out. Of course, I don't have any proof of this, but it was and still is my belief.

Consevatives (and Republicans for the most part) are truly the Counter-Culturalists of today.

We are TRULY the Radicals, if by radical, one goes to the definition, which is "root".

Conservatives are the ones who want to go back to the "root" of what the Founding Fathers had in mind.
