"the God of the Bible will make a name for Himself through Israel in the last days. The world will no longer be able to ignore Him."
The world is hardly ignoring God.
"The Bible says that God chose a special people to be His witness to the world:"
That's nice. But these people who were chosen to be his witnesses do not accept Jesus as the Messiah.
"I will gather all the nations against Jerusalem to battle ... (Zech 14.2)
The timing of this invasion is clear: it is defeated by Christ as He returns to earth (Zech 14.3,4), and so it occurs at the very end of this age."
I can live with that. Christ, who Israel rejects, will return to Earth and fight for Israel.
"*God Himself fights against the worlds armies"
God will fight against the worlds armies. And Jesus will too? God and Jesus, together, fighting the worlds armies to save Israel?
"It is after this final battle that God pours out His Spirit on Israel, and they recognize Christ as Savior"
So, here's the money question guys. Is God going to fight the worlds armies so that Israel will be a Christian nation?
"It is only after this final battle that the nations acknowledge the God of Israel"
Ok. The nations of the world will acknowledge the God of Israel. The nations of the world will become Jewish and Israel will become Christian.
"In fact, there is strong biblical support for the view that Christians (believers in Christ) will be taken from the earth just prior to this invasion"
Take me now Lord, take me now.
Are you still here? Can you hear me now?
Yes, this is exactly correct. God's covenant is an everlasting one.
