yes it is, that’s why so many gp’s no longer deliver babies, i understand it is almost impossible to find an ob/gyn who delivers in florida
Back in the 80’s I saw two small town hospitals (in Central Cal)stop delivering babies because of all the illegals who could not, by law, be turned away for lack of funds.
One of them is now a nursing home and the other is a sad place that the paramedics try to by pass with anyone needing serious help.
So, I guess there are several reasons for the high cost of healthcare.
