My vision of Hell, or at least Purgatory, is waiting forever for my delayed flight, unable to escape the horrific torture of loud CNN monitors all over the freeking airport.
My wife was called up for jury duty recently in Collin Co., Tx.
When she got there, they had two monitors running CNN in the room where everyone was waiting. She went up and asked that one be put onto Fox News.
They refused (both being fed off of one tuner it seems), so she told them she would be waiting outside the door.
I love this woman...

I have lived that hell. I never wait near the gate.

Anyway, the airport bars usually have sports on their TVs, unlike the ones in the main terminals.
Cheers.

I thought about watching Anderson Cooper once, but the Food Network had a show on about how they make tootsie rolls. Sorry, Coop.

CNN hasn’t done anything interesting since one of their news crews shot their way out of Tikrit, Iraq and they even apologized for doing that.

Once, a few years back, before I had a car with a CD player, much less one with satellite radio, I was driving from one end to the other of a rural county. A road, lots of hills and lots of trees. No clear AM stations came in, so I decided to try some music.
Unfamiliar with the stations in the area, I hit 'search' on the FM band. For many, many, many miles the digital dial kept landing on the same station: NPR.
Thank God I had some cassette tapes. Even silence would have been preferable to those smug, soporific saps on NPR.

Anderson confessed that it is difficult to speak when teabagging. Perhaps people cannot understand him?

Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy! Perhaps his audience found his remarks about tea party attendees a bit much to take?

I’m happy to say that at the Dentist office I go to they play Fox. Also the pharmacy waiting area also runs Fox. Now if I could only get the Dr’s office to switch I’d never have to see CNN again.

Get a universal remote and change the channel on a random basis. Drive them crazy.

My guess: the face on the left is gravitas and the other one is confusion, right?

Anderson confessed that it is difficult to speak when teabagging. I'm suprised she's able to get through a 1-hour television program. BTW, the difference between Cooper and the guys on Fox is they started this gig because they needed the job. Cooper is a Vanderbilt heiress who just likes to see herself on television. That might be another reason why people aren't watching.
