Teens have sex because they think they have to to fit in, or that there are few consequences. Self-respect would eliminate so much of this. The best way (in my experience) to curb teen pregnancy is to take away ssi, wic, etc. If there is no monetary reward, my students wouldn’t get pregnant.

Too simple. The students would not get pregnant if they had true knowledge of who they truly are in the scheme of things... A child of G-d that deserves more than fleeting physical release. They need to be taught that they are worth the wait and what a gift it is to give your spouse the gift of one’s virginity on one’s wedding night.
