Exactly. After a few years of paying off student loans (many $100,000 plus) and paying the taxes for

1. Baby boomer SS

2. Obama's deficits

I'm thinking that some of the brighter ones might become receptive to a conservative message.

The not-so-bright ones are probably liberals forever.

Fiscal conservatism will sell to the 28 year old who sees what is going on.

The jump to social conservative ideas will take a bit longer. They have not yet made the connection between social liberalism and the cultural decay (40% illegitimacy, drugs, disintegration of the family) that ends up driving the high cost of government and hence taxes.

But they will someday.

So for now sell the punitive taxes they will be paying, show that you are committed to shrinking the size of government and reducing taxes and they will vote you in.
