In a previous thread, where Pope Benedict asserted the human right to life per natural law, I gave him a bravo. But in this, he is being a fool. Islam cannot be appeased, and that is exactly what he is doing. Even worse, he is pitting Catholics against the truth on a very important political issue - and one which the Left will be sure to exploit.

Thank you...I share that sentiment as well...I’m very much supportive of the efforts of the Catholic Church in opposing abortion or stem cell research, but in this instance I’m appalled!
