Illegal immigrants in southeastern Minnesota who wanted fake green cards or Social Security numbers knew where to go -- a Rochester apartment used by Rodrigo Zambrano and Mateo Rosales.
It is tempting, immigration officials say, to think of the counterfeit document business as a small-time cottage industry, but it is a lucrative national enterprise with "offices" here in Minnesota. It is the business that makes much illegal immigration possible, said Claude Arnold, special agent in charge of criminal investigations in Minnesota for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
"The estimates are that there are 12 million illegal aliens in this country," Arnold said. "The vast majority are here to work. And they can't work without these documents."
Locally, St. Paul is home to one of several ICE branches across the country devoted to documents and benefits fraud. While Arnold said he has no way to measure the scope of the counterfeit document business in Minnesota, "I'd say it's a lot bigger than people think or know about."

Many are here to murder, rape, rob, deal drugs, vote, spread disease, get all the freebies they can off the hard work of taxpayers, and other acts of terrorism.

And maybe if ICE wasn't holed up in office buildings but outside on the streets sending illegals back from whence they came, we wouldn't need several ICE branches across the country devoted to documents and benefits fraud.

AUSTIN, Texas - Authorities raided the offices of an influential Democratic donor on Friday, prompting accusations by the donor's attorneys that the raid was politically motivated. The state attorney general's office said it was assisting the Nueces County district attorney in the criminal investigation of Mauricio Celis, 36, who has given money to major Democratic candidates including Hillary Clinton and is the subject of numerous ongoing lawsuits and charges.
Attorney General Greg Abbott, a Republican, sued Celis in November, accusing him of practicing law without a license. Agents from Abbott's office were among those involved in the Friday search of Celis' Corpus Christi office.
"What is becoming abundantly clear is that we're looking at a political vendetta by an openly ambitious Republican politician in Austin who wants to score points by persecuting a prominent Democrat in South Texas," said Tony Canales, an attorney for Celis.
Jerry Strickland, a spokesman for the attorney general's office, said the warrant was executed in an ongoing criminal investigation. "The office of the attorney general, which regularly conducts and supervises complex money laundering investigations, is assisting the Nueces County district attorney with this case," he said. Celis has a controlling interest in the CGT Law Group of Corpus Christi. Texas law prohibits anyone from owning a controlling interest in a law firm unless he is a licensed lawyer.
While Celis is not licensed to practice law in Texas, he has argued that he can legally practice law in Mexico. The search warrant targeted any records or communications related to the firm's business transactions or finances and authorized investigators to seize and analyze any pertinent information. The raid was unrelated to Celis' November indictments by a Nueces County grand jury on four charges, including perjury and holding himself out as a lawyer.

CORPUS CHRISTI — The Texas AG's Office served a search warrant on the law offices of CGT International Law Group, removing boxes of financial documents, including tax returns. The firm's owner, Mauricio Celis (a Mexican national), was indicted in November on charges of impersonating a lawyer and a police officer. Friday's raid is an indication the state is considering criminal charges. The raid came one day after investigators interviewed accountants for Celis.
COMMENTS A Mexican national in the US impersonating a lawyer and a police officer? So did authorities figure out how many identities this guy has? How many SS numbers he has? How many US govt benefits he's collecting under different identities? How much money he's sent back to Mexico via Western Union or by other electronic means? How many places he's registered to vote and how many times he's voted using different identities?
Authorities can't ask his immigration status b/c that's a federal matter (/sarc). However, they can nail him for fraudulently filing official documents to obtain voting status, US govt benefits, SS cards, IRS refunds, driver's licenses, bank loans, mortgages, commercial licenses, education benefits........etc. Moreover, if he fraudulently voted on referendums involving taxing issues for US citizens, that could entail L/E issues.
NORTH BERGEN, NJ -- Pelcastre brothers, Angel and Jorge, Dallas, were a walking threat to US national security, expert document forgers who, for a few thousand dollars, could give anyone a new identity, authorities said.
The two men turned a Tonnelle Avenue hotel room into a business office and were readying a massive cache of fake Social Security cards for delivery to a local identity broker.
They were a "one-stop shop" for a myriad of fake US documents, including birth certificates, Social Security cards, driver's licenses for any state in the US, passports and resident alien cards, said state police.
Officers happened upon two cars bearing Texas plates in a hotel parking lot. Authorities wouldn't identify the hotel by name for fear it would spark retribution. The Drug Interdiction Task Force, regularly runs checks. The brothers were followed to an office supply store nearby where they purchased computer supplies. Officers then followed the brothers to a storage facility in Secaucus, where they loaded several boxes into a car. One of them stood lookout. Authorities approached them when they returned to the hotel and questioned them separately. The brothers consented to a search.
Police recovered laminating sheets with built-in security features, pages of blank documents waiting for fake names and information, finished documents, computers and software to create the fake IDs.
All told, the haul was worth about $500,000 on the street. Police also recovered $6,000 in cash, which was the first payment from a fake document broker for a shipment of 500 Social Security cards.
Hernandez told Cong Tancredo that the Mexican govt is plotting to increase the flow of Mexican nationals into the US.......... to serve Mexico’s needs:
(1) to increase $50B a year remittances (30% of Mexican GDP);
(2) to secure US employment for an exploding Mexican population,
(3) to alleviate Mexico's social instability;
(4) to force US taxpayers to provide free training and college degrees to Mexicans who are expected to return to Mexico with these skills.
Hernandez says Mexico demands amnesty b/c millions of Hispanics tied economically, politically and linguistically to Mexico can exert enormous influence on US.... that means billions of US tax dollars transferred to Mexico. US citizens will be forced to subsidize another failed foreign government.

THE LATEST RIPOFF The Mexican govt is orchestrating the bogus "drug war" ....they are creating a new class of illegals who are pouring into the US, claiming "persecution." The Mexican govt knows Social Security provides financial aid to these "refugees."
The Mexican gov't is coaching its citizens-----to drain the US Treasury..... to mooch off working class US taxpayers to get monthly Social Security checks under the "refugee" status. Keep in mind these people never paid a dime into the SS system; yet, they can collect seven years straight......and get extended payments if they are politically well-connected.
The SS checks to these "persecuted refugees" can amount to $1000 a month...... and more. Some "refugees" are wealthy Mexican nationals whining about "persecution" in order to collect.
Most of this money is sent back to Mexico where the corrupt govt takes a cut. The Mexican govt expects the Mexican "refugees" to return to Mexico as soon as they setup several identities to get multiple US checks coming in to Mexico monthly.

Not only is the Mexican government getting money but so are the people of Mexico. A man I was acquainted with at one point in time worked in California and had social security numbers for his family members in mexico. He was using their ssn for his yearly tax filing and receiving money for them claiming them as his dependents. This is inconceivable to me. How could our government allow this to happen. It is not only Mexicans that are buying fake documents to live and work here and receive tax benefits, welfare, etc etc. A friend of mine dated a man from Persia who had fake papers. He stupidly allowed her to go with him to visit a so called attorney friend who was also middle eastern and she witnessed this lawyer, who was well known in the city, supply this guy she was dating with fake papers, tax papers, social security number and I think even a birth certificate in order to stay in the country legally and receive all the US benefits and continue to run his own business and receive tax breaks. These papers were so well put together that no one ever questioned them not even the IRS, until he decided to physically harm my friend and she called the cops on him and called immigration and told them that she believed he was here illegally and using Papers and a Social Security number that was not supplied to him by the US social security administration. Just her telling them that prompted them to have a full investigation done on this man in regards to his documentation and what they found was incredibly calculated. The link to the fake documentation began in Mexico, and led investigators to a company in Texas ran by a man who was born in the middle east somewhere who had political ties and was making hundreds of thousands off creating and selling these fake documents. My friend never told them about the lawyer and he is still around probably selling fake documents to other illegal immigrants or immigrants who cant get citizenship and still want to remain here.
I have heard from other Mexicans that it is fairly easy to get a fake ssn and that many of them come from deceased people. They find birth certificates of deceased people and get their information and create legal identities and every so often they ditch them and get new ones so to keep from getting caught. Another issue that concerns me is all the immigrants with work visas who are working in positions where they have access to people’s social security numbers, DL numbers, address, banking information, etc etc it;s is not uncommon for people in these position’s to abuse their privilages to this private information (since their loyalties DO NOT lie with the American people). For example, I knew someone who abused his privilage to access websites internally to monitor credit card fraud and gathered a bunch of information about his girlfriends credit card information from a dating site she joined about a year before she met him. Apparently even if the you delete the account all your information stays in the websites system for a period of time. If she would have reported him he could have been prosecuted by her and the company he was working for. He was also an immigrant from Mexico. It would not surprise me if immigrants who hold job positions such as these are some of the main culprits in supplying social security numbers to other immigrants who will use them and abuse them for whatever reason.

ITEM The NY Times reported Mexicans who once worked here with valid SS numbers, then returned to Mexico, actually rent out their SS numbers. Illegals on US soil can then file with the IRS and pocket $3500 Earned Income Tax refunds, SS checks, etc, etc, etc.
ITEM A widely-used SS# scheme: illegals name their anchor baby the same name as the parent. They obtain a valid SS# for the anchor baby; the parent uses it, no one checks beyond name-matching, if that.
ITEM CNN's Lou Dobbs reported illegals are stealing small childrens' SS# because a child doesn't use a number very often so it is near impossible to detect a stolen number.
ITEM Dobbs also mentioned that business owners give illegals SS# of a previous employee (it is not a felony to give away SS#s but it is a felony to use them).
ITEM They are establishing multiple identities using several SS numbers so they can collect multiple US, state, and local govt freebies. They can file several tax returns to collect $3500 EITC checks, collect multiple welfare, UI and Workmens Comp under different names and SS#.
Illegals here get paid under the table, don't pay taxes..........and send some $50 billion US dollars back to their decrepit, moth-eaten Third World countries. They are a huge drain on US resources.
ITEM You can do a credit check to see if there are any credit accounts opened with your SSN. But privacy advocates have handicapped the government over concerns of government misuse of personal data. As a result, the government is not allowed to release any information about use of your SSN used for employment. It’s to protect you privacy. However, you should be able to order a SS report that reveals your income-based benefit level. Typically, most people discover someone is using their SSN when the IRS hits you with hefty fines for back taxes not paid on the $300K you earned last year from 21 simultaneous jobs around the country.

Exactly the same thing they do in Mexico, most of them come over claiming that they want to have a better life and wind up bringing their abuse problems over here because they grew up in a corrupt government and don’t know how to act like civilized human beings. No matter what you tell them they always have some justification for their behavior it is never their fault always someone else to blame.
