I agree mom. I look at the flimsy plastic “safety” seats I’m required to put my little girl in and it’s nuts.
The seats work.
The plastic is just there to a) carry the kid, and b) route the straps.
It’s really the straps that hold a kid in.
If a kid goes through the straps, the were either installed faulty or the crash was so severe that they failed.
