Unless the GOP does something to change the way primaries are currently run McCain might in fact ‘make it out’ of them. As it stands, RINOs, independents and Dems do more to pick our candidate than bona fide conservatives.

Gosh, you don’t suppose someone might have suggested that to Mike Steele? That this is what he should be concerning himself with? Rather than flashing his toothy smile all over the talk shows?

Get real. McCain will be 76 in 2012 and he lost by 9 million votes to Obama. He will never get the GOP nomination again nor will he run for President again. He hand his shot. He needs to be challenged and removed in the 2010 AZ senate primary. One challenger has already announced—Simcox—the former head of the Minutemen.

What can be done to the Primaries? Make them all GOP only (not that that would make a huge difference)

The problem is the media shaping the field *not* the voters..
