The only stats we have on abortion is not even from our own government, but from the Alan Guttmacher Institute, which is the research arm of Planned Parenthood. Some big states, like California do not even provide an annual estimate of abortions. So, these numbers have a built in bias to be low from the get-go.
Since 1973, conservatively speaking, at least 50 million babies have been aborted. Half of them are theoretically girls. If girls aborted from 1973-1992 were allowed to live, they would have had about 10 million children by now.
