Well, 25 teams finish behind us. I have a felling this year will be different. The bullpen is better than any of the teasms the mets have faced.
Somewhere in ny attick there is a book written by a NY Daily News reporter on the history of the Yankees. They have always bought the best teams. In fact, when Mr. Rupert owned them the Kansas City team was like their farn club according to the book.
It is a travesty what the team has done to salaries in the last 10 years. I do like the Mets though, David Wright impresses me every time I see him play and Reyes runs like lightning.
Not bad for a sub-.500 team. Before you know it they may pull a few games ahead of the Orioles.

It goes back way longer than ten years. I just hasn’t worked for them for the past 5. But they have skewed the market way out of whack.
And that new stadium the taxpayers paid for is doint them no good.

Who cares about the Skankees. They currently have the worst team ERA in the AL. If they win this year, the accomplishment will be tainted due to the presence of
A-Roid and drunks like Chamberlain. I don’t like any teams east of the Mississippi River, but am pulling for the Red Sox to finish higher in the standings than the Skankees.
