Republican Party turncoat Arlen Specter is being rewarded by Hollywood.
The buzz on the L.A. streets is that the Senate will be filibuster proof when the Democrats add Al Franken and Specter.
A recent Tina Daunt article in the Los Angeles Times trumpets the following headline: “Arlen Specter is welcome on the Left Coast.”

Then he should be forced to pay back all contributors who contributed to his Republican campaign.
Franken and Spector’s turncoat move have no impact on any filibuster efforts.
The GOP NEVER had the votes for a filibuster anyway.
Spector, Snow, Collins, and possibly even Graham would have voted with the Dems to block any filibuster.
It doesn’t surprise me that Hollywood elites like “The Meatball” support freaks like Spector and Franken. No surprise at all.
