With every day that passes, a new Supreme Court replacement for Justice David Souter looms closer.
There is plenty of speculation surrounding who President Barack Obama will choose as his first High Court appointee but few question which wing of the bench he or she will side with.
Since the left wing David Souter is retiring and a left wing justice is likely to take his seat, chances are the balance of the court wont change dramatically from a bit picture view.

Article III will have specific language denying the USSC has final say on the meaning of the Constitution. The state legislatures do.

The libs have their litmus test question, is Roe vs. Wade settled law. We now have our litmus test question, is Heller settled law.
No court approved the constitution when it was passed...why do we need one now?..We don’t.
The ussc is not needed, “shall not be infringed”.
We have to hope the remaining Supreme libtards hang in there long enough for us to get the house and senate back. Obama can’t do any worse than Souter.

Amazing. I can’t think of a SINGLE decision that guy made which wasn’t liberal or statist.
As for Spector being off the Senate Judicial Review Committee, that is only a blessing. We just might get somebody on their to replace him who is a REAL Republican and will make an issue with any of B.O.’s appointments.
I assume Specter is also off of the Judiciary committee. Nothing thrilled him more than the sound of his own voice, questioning people to whom he could not hold an intellectual candle.
