Imagine that.
Rumsfeld was familiar with posse comitatus.
Bears repeating. Whodathunkit? I’m really really getting tired of the MSM doing their best to attack the previous administration just because they were Republican. Hmmm...
could it be that Obama’s disasters currently need a smokescreen?

A failing magazine with declining readership. What, are they down to their last 75 readers and feel a need to be ‘controversial’ to sell a few extra issues?
Screw GQ!

Not a peep from the MSM as he partied on Superbowl weekend eating $100 a pound steaks.

Dont these people realize that the military isnt supposed to be used inside the USA?No, their model for what the military ought to be is the Chinese Red Army.
To: balch3
You know good and darn well if the Military had been used in full force, leftists would be screaming their heads off about “attrocities” commited by Bushitler’s gestapo or something stupid like that. What is it about reality these people don’t understand?

"Rumsfeld's aversion to using active-duty troops was evident: "There's no doubt in my mind," says one of Bush's close advisers today, "that Rumsfeld didn't like the concept." You are right, along with several other Freepers. The Founding fathers are the ones who didn't like the concept. The utter ignorance of the MSM continues to amaze me more than I thought possible.

I’m sorry, I missed this at first. This appeared in GQ? Isn’t that a magazine that caters to fags and metrosexuals, and dwells upon such significant issues as this season’s preferred trouser fabric? That GQ?
Why on earth would any of us give a rat’s patoot about what GQ’s editors believe is an appropriate political opinion?
To: balch3
Isn’t GQ a men’s fashion magazine?

FWIW, Michael “Hellava job” Brown is coming out with a book soon claiming that he suggested that people be airlifted out of the New Orleans. He said that TSA said no. Brown said he then went to the Pentagon, where he was granted permission to station Marines on board on the flights. This was still denied by TSA.
Rummy is coming out with a book next year, I think.

I got a survey from Men's Vogue after I bought their premiere and they asked me whose style I emulated: I said “VP Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, and Terrel Owens.”
I wish I had been there to see the look on their face.

What’s the delay now, in these slugs and slackers getting to ‘h’ out of the government trailers? They’ve been feeding at the ‘chocolate’ trough too long and it’s time to ween that bunch of losers.
