Hesh Weinreb of the OU is a big supporter of Israel. He is purported to have turned down Obama’s invitation to the Inaugural Prayer. Rabbi Lookstein went instead.

You are right. I’ve changed my mind. Your comment about preparing for the last holocaust is insightful and, I now believe, dead-on accurate.
I didn’t know he was on the anti-Rubashkin bandwagon or in the hechsher tzedek movement.
