She’s got the Ivy League/judge qualifications. But I think she also fulfills Rove’s suggestion that the announcement is too soon and she’s probably not fully vetted. As an outspoken judge from the Bronx, I think there’s a fair chance some missteps or misstatements may come out.
One, the GOP won’t stand up on its hind legs and bring out these negatives - look at how they rolled over for Ginsberg.
Two, if anyone opposes her, they’re obviously a racist.
Oh, and yes, I know that the chances are that as a Puerto Rican her Ivy League-intellect is rather an affirmative action intellect.
