Holy Toledo!
Good.
Free men were NEVER intended to be placed at the protective mercy of a police states.
Towns had a sheriff, and the sheriff formed TEMPORARY possies of able-bodied men for specific, limited purposes. Every man was expected to come to the aid of his neighbor, preferable with gun in hand. There was no such thing as “taking the law into your own hands” because each man was expected to comply with and enforce the law.
More and more cops meant more and more limitations on the citizen’s ability to perform his duty. At some point, the scales tipped and the ability of the citizen to perform those duties was effectively outlawed.
Stepping out onto your yard, gun in hand, with the intent to help your neighbor is now often met with a swarm of shots from our appointed “protectors”.
We’ve got so many cops that they now have the time to stop and ticket for seat belt violations or enforce “nuisance” ordinances like having an un-trimmed law.
Amen
Ya think?
Yep.
Wow, great post. I don’t think anyone could of said it better.
That’s right on the money.
Good luck to all these new gun owners in finding ammo for their new weapons. I know I can’t find any ammo in the popular calibers anywhere anymore.
We got ammo...no worries...(lives in Toledo)
Well said BUMP!
Cities are going to release criminals and cut police in an effort to scare the people into tax hike submission. They will keep the gay pride coordinating staff fully employed.
This is going to happen all over the country. I hope these petty dictators end up mugging a lot of liberals with their tax and spend political games.
