His ACORN interview was a joke. He was softer on them than he was on Obama. Complete waste of time. Frank Luntz even called him out on it.
Well, isn't that interesting. Looks like it's up to you, Beck. And Ailes may wanna have a little chat with O'Reilly.
That was funny. He looked to Luntz for some reinforcement and instead Luntz called him a “Teddy Bear”. I wonder what Luntz was really thinking.
You know you are a pathetic marshmallow when Luntz calls you out!
Yes, but his last question salvaged the interview. He asked them if they would open their books, and their answer was "no."
O'Reilly said that, as taxpayers, we're entitled to know where our money is going.
He's right. But he was very, very soft on them. The most embarrassing segment was when he glossed over the fact that 200 different organizations use the New Orleans address. The ACORN CEO said that it was their "former headquarters," and O'Reilly just let it go.
I can't think of a one good reason why 200 organizations would use a single physical address as a mail drop.
Yes, he was soft on them. Annoyingly so.
Agree! The ACORN interview was a wasted opportunity, it should have been a full hour with all questionable acts of ACORN presented to their CEO. He should have cornered them with their own words and actions.
I never did get hooked on OReilly’s show and only gave it shot last night hoping someone would give it to ACORN. Glen Beck should take the key primetime slot and have OReilly run the 3-5 AM show.
