Judicial Watch: ACORN Used in 2010 Census
Newmax ^ | 5/28/2009 | Judicial Watch

Judicial Watch, the public interest group that investigates and prosecutes government corruption, announced today that it has obtained documents from the U.S. Census Bureau detailing the substantial involvement of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN) in the 2010 Census. Included among the 126 pages of documents, obtained by Judicial Watch under threat of a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit, is ACORN's original Census partnership application. The document describes 18 different areas of responsibility requested by the community organization, which is under investigation in multiple states for illegal activity during the 2008 election, including voter registration fraud.

The documents also list the types of organizations ineligible for partnering with the U.S. Census. They include: "...Hate groups, Law enforcement, anti-immigrant groups, any groups that might make people fearful of participating in the Census..." The release of these Obama Commerce Department documents comes in the wake of an Obama Department of Homeland Security report released in April linking opposition to illegal immigration to "rightwing extremist radicalization."

In its official statement responding to the ACORN controversy, the Obama Commerce Department downplayed ACORN's participation in the Census, and labeled "baseless" the notion that ACORN would be involved in any Census count. However, the Census Bureau offered ACORN the opportunity to "recruit Census workers" who would participate in the count. Moreover, as an "executive level" partner, ACORN has the ability to "organize and/or serve as a member on a Complete Count Committee," which, according to Census documents, helps "develop and implement locally based outreach and recruitment campaigns."

manipulating the census by counting illegals is bad enough ...
but by manipulating which illegals get counted, which city block they live on, etc., you have effective control over the boundaries for state house and U.S. House districts. And the illegals end up with representation. Even if they do not vote!

Think about it.

Nope! The only people that are going to "get" in trouble are the serfs who differ with the messiah on any issue.

The fix has been in since day #1. Nothing and no one can stop ACORN from not only distorting all future census counts, but all future so-called elections as well.

Wake up! There is only one solution. The paradigm is contained, very clearly, in the Declaration of Independence.

"Why aren’t the Repubs up in arms about this?"

Like everyone else these days, they're afraid they'll be called racists.

Interesting that a while back, there was a going debate on a Census thread about ACORN workers being used by Census. The Freeper who was working for census said there were no ACORN workers, etc. I wondered about that. Glad to see that my initial instincts were correct—they are likely going to bias the census to influence vote, funding, etc.

“Why aren’t the Repubs up in arms about this?”

Some republicans have been big ACORN supporters. Like John McCAin. Yes, he finally came out during the election and said something against them, but he was right there with them before.

[snip]...chief organizer of Acorn, sharply attacked McCain, suggesting the 72-year-old senator is “erratic”—a word that Republicans believe Democratic opponents use against McCain to stir up concerns about his age.

“Maybe it is out of desperation that Sen. McCain has forgotten that he was for Acorn before he was against Acorn; he was for immigration reform before he was against immigration reform; and he was a maverick before he became erratic,” Lewis said.

She added, “We are surprised at his efforts to vilify an organization that, until recently, he saw as an ally. Maybe this surprise attack and change of heart is indicative of his state of mind, and the way he would govern.”

On Friday, McCain’s campaign called for an investigation into Obama’s ties to Acorn. The campaign has also released a Web video tying Obama to the group. The Obama campaign has said any charges of impropriety are false. However, Acorn has come under scrutiny in several states for its voter registration efforts.

The Democratic-leaning outfit has registered 1.3 million voters for the 2008 election—its best year ever–but it has also come under scrutiny in several key battleground states, including Ohio, Nevada, and Missouri, for alleged fraudulent voter schemes. “We need a full and complete and thorough investigation of these allegations which seem to be widespread,” McCain said last week.

In July, The Wall Street Journal reported on Acorn’s political activity and how they benefited from the housing bill the Democratic-controlled Congress approved earlier this year.

Why do black Americans who are mostly white or other races, always consider themselves ‘black’...like Obama?
