Our denomination (Foursquare) just put it in the bylaws that our pastors may ONLY perform marriages between a man and a woman. This will help protect them against discrimination lawsuits as well as giving them a pat response when asked to perform unbiblical marriages.

They feel the need to force us to accept homosexuality.

Its not about marriage but about making homosexuality
accepted in society. They can just ask us to accept
their choice, but they know we would say, No thanks.

So they use the marriage issue to make it normal to the
STATE; then they have every GOVERNMENTAL right
(not God given) to have homosexuality taught
as normal in the schools. If the government
accepts gay “marriage,” what right, then,
does the government school system have in
even informing parents that it will be
taught? Look at Massachusetts.

Keep fighting.

“We had 150 people show up (for the Tuesday night rallies) here and in Thousand Oaks,” Brown said. “Where are they now?”

They despise any form of Christianity, Brown. Didn't you know?

A thought I just had. This two pronged attach on marriage in California, through the courts and the ballot box, is going to dilute the efforts of each, I believe. The hardcore activists who want their way NOW are banking on the federal case which is being filed, draining their energies away from the ballot front. The ballot route folks are scolding the litigators (strangely) for rushing too hastily into a loosing arena, so no support there.

This might be the perfect storm for the homo-fascists.

My point was that they are all about “what they want.”

“We Just Want.” We Just Want. Totally selfish and self-centered.

This is all quite similar to the Soul Force farce, in which they intruded on Christian College property to “dialog.” Only, when some receptive schools agreed to discuss differences under controlled terms, i.e. a debate forum, Soul Farce refused. They wanted the soapbox to themselves, damn all other viewpoints.

These homosexual propaganda groups only want one-way dissemination - their way.

Don’t let them in, it is all one sided with them. They have played their little “good cop/bad cop” game just a dozen times to often. How stupid do they think we are? They only want to “dialogue” on their terms. They are our sworn enemies and hate us with a flaming purple passion and want to wipe true Christian morality off the face of the earth.

It would be foolish to think that you can reach them under those circumstances. They come prepared to do battle, this time it is pyschological battle, like the serpent in the garden. Any church that was foolish enough to invite them in would only be used. They would use their sob stories to try to get sympathy from the weakest members and then divide the church members against each other. These are the tactics that they have used on all the churches. Look at the Anglican church, they totally have taken it over from the true believers. This is what they want to do with every church until there is no church who will dare oppose them.

If we want to help those who are opened to leaving the gay lifestyle we should have more outreach especially to young people who may not be already set in their ways. Why don’t Christian ministries have websites that reach out to gays who are not happy with their “gayness”? I don’t see this happening. If anyone knows of a website that has an outreach to deliver people from homosexuality could you please post the link? That would be a great public service.

I way let them in.

Warn them, there will be a hellfire preacher in the pulpit, preaching from the Bible on the subject of morality. There will be a dozen strong men ready to keep order.

They are welcome to listen.

I almost agree with you. Only they will play victim, as it is always their trump card. That, or they will throw condoms at the altar.

This is not how they operate. These people are serpent like, they are subtle, when they are not being outrageous on purpose. What they would like to do would be to pretend to have a civil discussion with the opening to make return visits. They may make friendships with some people who want to be “compassionate” and “Christian”. They may get phone numbers or email addresses of those who seem ammenable. They may even seem open minded toward the Gospel but they would be just reeling them in like so many fishes. I think their hope is to get sympathy from some of the congregation and then use that to build a relationship that would cause a schism. This is what is happening in many churches even the Catholic Church. Look at what happened at Notre Dame as Obama was warmly welcomed even when he supported partial birth abortion and the gay agenda. This is the soft sell. This is about the smile and sweet words - like the serpent in Eden.

Their hope is to find some sypathetic people that they could cultivate - even a weak minded reverend. If they could make inroads with the pastor that would be the top prize because the pastor would then try to lead his whole flock to the gay friendly point of view. It wouldn’t be about openly embracing their deviant behavior, it would be about “compassion” and “understanding”. One poster said that his Catholic church even has a special mass for them. The pastor can say -”We are just being compassionate, we are not accepting their behavior.” But there they will be Sunday after Sunday and the church will do nothing to ask them to give up their foul behavior. In Massachusetts there is a Catholic church that has a gay legislator as a member. This guy was in the forfront of bringing gay marriage to Massachusetts. He would get before the assembly on tv and give the most impassioned speeches for gay marriage. He used his church to get himself elected and he used it to give tacit approval to his lifestyle.

Don’t let them in. Would you let Satan in to convert him? If you want to reach out to those in the gay lifestyle who want to change, then have an outreach outside of the actual church. A website would be good with meetings somewhere outside of the church but do not let them into the church and be careful that you are not being had.

That's what the dozen strong men are for. They should be ready, willing and able. Video camera's too.

This is be a witness opportunity. They can sit and listen, behave as invited guests behave, or the video of their actions can be posted on the internet.

I hear what you are saying. What you say is how all churches I know will handle this.

It’s why my wife and I quit going. If I’m going to hide under the pew, I can just as well do it at home, saves time.

Ladies and gentlemen, Fred Phelps just called. He’d like to have a few minutes to tell his story in your churches.

The official seal of approval of the state is a very powerful thing, just look at what Roe v Wade did. Before the Supreme Court decision abortion was a crime and a shameful act, after Roe v Wade it became a “right”. Many politicians would compete with others to be the most “pro-choice”. The most “pro-choice” politician won the prize, in places like Massachusetts where I live. I cannot tell you the number of times when Ted Kennedy would puff out his chest and bray that he was the most ‘pro-choice’ candidate and that he whole heartedly supported a ‘woman’s right to chose”. The legalization of abortion changed the way many of our daughters thought about abortion. I believe that it even trivialized sexual morality and premarital sex seemed like it wasn’t so serious because after all there was always abortion which was always touted by Planned Parenthood as being “legal, safe and only a blob of tissue.” Evil people knew how to turn a generation against the morality of their parental upbringing.

When they legalize gay marriage it will make it look acceptable and “normal” just as abortion became normalized when it became legalized. They will use this state approval to normalize experimentation in homosexuality. One of the new tactics that are coming on the scene today is the use of the word gender to replace sex. Gender, the way they use it means the way people express themselves sexually, not the way they are physically made. They say that there are more than two “genders”. They include male homosexual, lesbian, bisexual and transexual as “genders”, heterosexuality is also a “gender” but they try to minimize it to just one of a number of choices. It appears that they are actually trying to make it seem that people who are completely heterosexual are the minority, so that they can marginalize us. Soon they will start calling us the abnormal ones. We cannot give them this ammunition to use on our children.

I am just curious as to which state you live in because I would just like to know how far the “tolerance” desease has spread. Do you come from a small community?
