SEOUL (Reuters) - North Korea is preparing to move an intercontinental ballistic missile from a factory near Pyongyang to a launch site on the east coast, a South Korean newspaper quoted a source in Washington as saying on Saturday.
The factory north of Pyongyang is the same place where the North manufactured the long-range rocket it fired on April 5 before moving it to the east-coast Musudan-ri missile range for assembly and launch, the Dong-a Ilbo newspaper said.
Regional powers are waiting to see what the North might do next after it conducted a nuclear test on Monday. South Korea is on alert on the assessment Pyongyang may make provocative moves using conventional weapons at their heavily armed border.
North Korea has warned of an intercontinental ballistic missile test in anger over U.N. Security Council punishment of what Pyongyang said was a satellite launch on April 5.
"Preparations to move an ICBM from the Saneum Weapons Research Center near Pyongyang by train have been captured by U.S. spy satellites," Dong-a Ilbo quoted a source in Washington knowledgeable about the issue as saying.
The research lab is the North's main center of research and manufacture of long-range missiles, the newspaper said

Of course..the O administration is “not concerned”.
After all....they have MUCH more “important things to worry and FAR bigger “ terrorist threats”—such as the TEA parties and people who write congress disagreeing with them.
Get ready, folks(and get ALL of your loved ones ready too). The return MUST be VERY close indeed.
Boy, they better not nuke any baby seals or dolphins or anything like that, that would indeed anger Obama.
It can’t be that bad — after all, obama and michelle are taking in a Broadway play in NYC tomorrow. What? Obama worry? He’s too busy campaigning in Hollywood bragging about how wonderful he’s doing.
They’re gonna keep pushing until someone MAKES them stop.

1. Obama “I will slow development of future combat systems and freeze SDI-related expenditures
2. Biden “They will test him and our reaction will puzzle you”
If the NK missile happens to fall on a Japanese whaling boat, all will be forgiven.
Ping.
Ping to you as well.
Bttt.
The old shell game.
Where is the missiles?
Probably set for the Fourth of July.
Back during the big US/Soviet cold war build-up, both countries suffered tremendous setbacks when developing their respective ICBM programs. It wasn't uncommon, especially in the USSR, to lose complete control of these missiles. The Soviets had suffered many deaths during their development and testing changes.
Pieces of a PRNK ICBM landing on a fishing boat, or even a city because their mission control lost telemetry and rocket control is not a very far-fetched possibility. Every time NK test one of these longer ranged missiles, it's a crap shoot.
After all....they have MUCH more important things to worry and FAR bigger terrorist threatssuch as the TEA parties and people who write congress disagreeing with them.
And getting to Broadway to see a show.
This would make a great U.S. Pacific Fleet exercise missile interception, but no doubt, Barry will pass up the opportunity.
Il Obambambambabaabaaaboieunsissimus hasn’t had time to develop the selective shield which will spare the whining minorities classes and their fellow-travellers, the “intellegentsia” from having to do anything, anything at all forever.
Yes, it is a possibility. There is precedent. They did July 4th multiple intermediate missile launches into the Sea of Japan, right during our national holidays, during the W Administration (with inpunity). Another option would be June 25, the anniversation of their “War of Liberation” on South Korea in 1950.
