Given the litigious nature of Americans I can’t say I blame the venue canceling on the event. The hotel has deep pockets, and if some jihadi wing-nut decided to do something during the event and if anyone got hurt, the hotel would surely be a co-defendant and the one most likely to have to shell out. The hotel was merely doing prudent risk management. I doubt the event planners would have been in any position to indemnify the hotel, or put up a bond in case of property damage (if I were the hotel, I would require both).

Nice hotel. I stayed there when I took my son to a Vandy game.
Glad they summoned up the courage to keep the radical towelheads out.
Would have been even better if they had had the sense not to have scheduled them in the first place.

It should read
“Nashville hotel drops ANTI-jihad conference over safety concerns”
and as correctly reported on World Net Daily
“Nashville hotel boots anti-jihad conference”
