Bill Wynn doesn’t know much about Jerome Jay Ersland’s case, but he knows firsthand what it’s like to kill a robber.

Wynn shot one Wednesday at his pharmacy in San Antonio, Texas.

"What was I thinking?” he told The Oklahoman. "I’ll be honest with you: Not much. From the time he came in the door until the time it was completely over with ... was less than a minute. There wasn’t time to think.”

IMO, anyone who doesn't sympathize needs their head examined!

Look, the liberals questioned, insinuated and essentially neutered every police department across the country over the past 40 years through their insane defense of predators.

They are even more hell-bent on doing this to citizens who dare defend themselves.

He also has a facebook, and some other pages.

Well, no wonder. He’s obviously not very good at it. :-)

My sympathies and best wishes for the future to the
pharmacists and their families. There's certainly no
shortage of bad guys (or their apologists/sympathizers/
enablers) but the up side is that you can thin the herd
out from time to time.

Wynn’s bullet hit the robber "square in the chest, right in the heart,” he said. The robber dropped to his knees, Wynn said, then tried to stand and raise his gun. Wynn’s second shot missed, but the man slipped in his own blood. He fell over backwards and didn’t get up.

A fitting end of a loser's life.

OUTSTANDING shooting Mr. Wynn (no “trained” and “experienced” police officer could have done a better job, that is, if one were available at precisely the moment you needed one)!

I notice that the victim’s picture is shown with the article, but no picture of the perp.

This is an outrage. That DA Prater should be disbarred and brought up numerous charges.

I find it difficult to sympathize with the pharmacist after he goes back in his office and gets another gun and then walks out an pumps four rounds into the unarmed and unconscious perp laying on the floor. The guy was no longer a threat, so what’s with the coup de grace.

I guess what bugs me besides the callous disregard of human life is it provides ammunition to the gun grabbers in their argument that regular citizens can’t be trusted to use guns for their own self protection.

I don’t have much sympathy for the perp either.

+++++++++++++

So in line with what you’re both saying those of us who support the 2nd amendment need to really ensure that we and all we know how to properly use our firearms. I think the pharmicist in OK didn’t respond well in the follow on shooting. I don’t think he should have been charged with 1st degree murder but some charges are warranted.

As Busywhiskers writes, we need to *not* give our gun grabber enemies ammunition.

No offense, but Mr. Wynn had better SHUT UP! Some leftist government attorney is just itching to bring murder charges against him, both as the thug was undoubtedly either black or an illegal, and for the purpose of intimidating others against either purchasing a gun or using one in defense of their lives.

He can't be seen, so how do you know that? I say he was raising his gun to shoot again, just like the guy in this story.

You are probably correct re: the OK pharmacist shooting. You have to give that DA a bit of credit. It appears that it was necessary to bring murder charges against the pharmacist in order to place two, possible adult gang members, and a juvenile under arrest for murder. I believe that this case centers not on the tape, but information given by the pharmacist regarding the "get away" car.

I think this is going to be a complicated case with racial/gang implications.

Unlikely since he never had a gun or any other weapon.

You are correct according to the initial news release, but I think the case is about to fall apart. The younger boy is charged with a "youthful offender" murder (an unusually harsh charge that anticipates incarceration in an adult facility after turning 18). It sounds very much like the DA, Prater, had made a deal and reneged. Natasha Spigner, the mother of the 14 year old at least claims as much. Prater claims that this isn't true ... some other body/organization made the claim. This is interesting stuff.

Interestingly, at last account, a gun had not been found. In fact Prater makes the case for Jerome Ersland that an actual weapon is not necessary to convict the would be robber and accomplices with murder. The converse is true for Ersland. A weapon need not have been on the 16 year old's body to be considered a deadly threat. If the perpetrator is not immobilized, any action could be considered life threatening. It is in the state of mind of the person defending himself.

Sorry, in this age of "gangs" particularly ACORN, this is going to be a test case in many respects.
