I wonder who, and I wonder if we will learn of a motive.

We’re a Country of laws. The analogies with reference to RHINOs and OBL are irrelevant.

Killing a fetus in the womb is legal. Murdering the authorized killer of the fetus is not legal. That’s the bottom line.

It’s likely that political agenda in favor of abortion will gain from this incident. That won’t help the unborn.

You need to get some courage.

This is an important current event.

The thread allows comments from all sides.

I see much to disagree with.

I see much to agree with.

I see little that I would describe as “vile” -—

I see nothing that should be pulled.

Chaplain, thank you for clearly stating that.

Wonder if he'll be taken alive to stand trial, or if we'll soon hear he is "dead by his own hand?"

That's often how these things are written to play out.

Why would an abortionist go to church?

He's a liberal ELCA lutheran. They don't care about abortion.

Nothing like wrapping up all the bitter clingers in one fell swoop taking care of the gun issues and abortion issue all in one neat little edict by the Bama, of course he will be doing it because of the serious outcry from the populace for justice.

It is not a crime now. It used to be a crime, It may be a crime later, but it is not now.

I'm not talking about the made up travesty of Roe v. Wade. I'm talking about natural law.

Finally! An honest answer.

LOL! Well I tried to wait for one of the 'law-abiding' pro-lifers to respond but I see none were forthcoming. These pro-lifers are the same ones who cringe when people hold up signs of aborted fetuses at abortion clinics.

Extreme times call for extreme measures, obviously abortion on demand for the past 40 years at the cost of millions upon millions of slauightered babies is not extreme enough but to a few.

And now we have the most radical Tiller-like abortion President in the history of this nation with a rubber-stamping pro death Congress to complement him, well done pro-life movement.

Because, as evil as Tiller was, murder is murder. As noted in the post you were responding to, somebody lost her brother today. That is tragic.

It is an interesting philosophical question. Is it tragic when evil men are killed? Was the hanging of Mussolini tragic? Is the execution of a murderer tragic? Can it be tragic and justified at the same time?

This was an extra-judicial killing so it stands outside the law. It was a crime, certainly.

True. I did....and the book is Neuromancer, darn spell checkers. I know you feel strongly man....I apologize for taking it out on you. I will say that many posts on this thread help nothing for Pro-Lifers.....IMHO.

“If just ONE baby’s life is saved by Tiller’s death, that is a good thing.”

And if its about saving lives,,,
Who can doubt that Sarah, with her bravery, positive example, and clear display that the world doesnt end if you have a downs baby, saved more lives than this murderer and his treachery ever could have?

Calm down. Declaring that “we are no longer a nation under the rule of law” is ridiculous. We have plenty of leaders who are violating the laws but if anyone can simply stand up, declare that the rule of law has ended and use that to justify taking matters into his own hands—which is what you just now did—then you have justified pure anarchy. No, at present most people are not taking matters into their own hands and so you can make such foolish statements without suffering the consequences that true widespread anarchy would bring—immense suffering for everyone.

But as a statement, what you wrote justifies pure anarchy.

Be careful what you ask for. You might get it.

Don’t you know that Mohammed stole that from the Talmud?

Mohammed never had an original thought in his life.

Killing a fetus in the womb is legal. Murdering the authorized killer of the fetus is not legal. That’s the bottom line.

Based on your reasoning, those who ran the Nazi death camps and were prosecuted, convicted and executed were innocent because they were following the law.

While what the killer did was wrong, I'll lose no sleep over the death of Tiller.

I think it neither helps nor hurts either side. I can't see the logic behind someone who on the fence regarding abortion, (how they can be on the fence about the late terms abortions this creep performed is another matter) suddenly deciding it's okay to kill babies because someone murdered him.
