Disagree.

The civil rights movement was going nowhere (legislatively) until cities started burning.

Bullcrap. Burning cities didnt do anything for civil rights. What it did do, was make whitey have an excuse to equate black with “dangerous”.

What turned the tide was refusing to move to the back of the bus,, or those men in dress suits weearing signs saying “I am a man”. What turned the tide was stuff like Little Rock High, well-dressed kids just attempting to go to school.

If you want a better analogy from the civil rights era. Think about the guy dynamiting that church and killing the four little girls. His purpose was to stop desegregation, he galvanized thought against his cause.

Todays murderer will probably achieve a similar result. This is a huge black eye. Sane anti-abortionists and the cause were hurt today. This is the mentality of the church that protests soldier funerals. Are you going to want to be a supported of that bunch of low lifes if it turns out to be one of them?
