"I am personally responsible for 75,000 abortions. This legitimises my credentials to speak to you with some authority on the issue. I was one of the founders of the National Association for the Repeal of the Abortion Laws (NARAL) in the U.S. in 1968.
A truthful poll of opinion then would have found that most Americans were againstpermissive abortion. Yet within five years we had convinced the U.S. Supreme Court to issue the decision which legalised abortion throughout America in 1973 and produced virtual abortion on demand up to birth. How did we do this? It is important to understandthe tactics involved because these tactics have been used throughout the western world with one permutation or another, in order to change abortion law."

Of COURSE life begins at conception - how anyone could possibly convince themselves otherwise is beyond me.
Thanks Edna.
Dr. Nathanson deserves our respect. For someone to admit that he was personally responsible for the end of 75,000 human lives is no easy task. God bless him for his conversion and for working so hard for the pro-life cause.
Good point!
I have found that example gets through to quite a few people and makes people think. Not knowing when life begins makes zero difference morally.
Well said.
Step on a Turtle Egg, go to federal prison. Crush a living human being’s skull in utero and be celebrated as “courageous”.
Does any doubt remain in your mind that in fact Obama is right, America is no longer a Christian nation? It is impossible to be Christian and pro-abortion.
We are headed into a new dark age. Pray for revival.
Bump for the beginning of life... such as that which gave me my grandkids!
If I were to say that life begins when the fertilized egg actually implants inside the mother, would that be different from your statement? I’ve heard that there are polenty of times when an egg is fertilized but fails to implant and is then discarded naturally by the woman’s bodily functions.
Or is that a distinction without a difference?
Nathanson, among many other ex-abortionists, serves to exemplify as to why even the lives of abortionists are of great value to God — and that conversion awaits a small number of them...thanks to God’s tremendous grace & mercy. (The sanctity of life doesn’t stop @ the abortionist’s doorstep)
No. That is a death. A natural death, but it is a death nonetheless. There is a separate DNA for the baby as soon as the miosis and mitosis occur.
You asked: “Ive heard that there are plenty of times when an egg is fertilized but fails to implant and is then discarded naturally by the womans bodily functions.”
Once fertilization takes place there is new life. When it doesn’t implant naturally, i.e. not caused by chemical or surgical methods, it is considered a miscarriage.
Isn’t that what I said? When the sperm enters the egg, the cells start dividing and multiplying. Isn’t that miosis and mitosis?
Oh. Thanks for the clarification.
When you talk to pro death supporters, almost without question you hear them say while I am personally opposed to abortion, it is not my place to tell a woman what choice she should make (or somewhere along that line). I think that is the most gutless decision a person can make. Make a stand!!! You are either for killing babies or against it.
