Thank you for posting this wonderful tribute to Tony. As his birthday drew closer, I found myself getting sadder. I should be grateful to have had the time with Tony that I did, but in lieu of what has gone on since his passing, in government and in the culture, it is hard not to despair. [A trait Tony would not tolerate.]
I have stuff I have to attend to today so I'll be in and of the Thread. I do so look forward to reading the posts of old friends and SnowFlakes.

Don’t despair, Foxy! You are right that Tony would not want you to feel that way. I don’t think that I agree that he wouldn’t tolerate it, but it’s fair to say that he would give you a lot to think about and that he would challenge you. ;)

He was an example of the COMPLETE human being, a wonderfully gifted person! I count it a privilege to have known and spoken w/him. I will be a Snow Flake for the rest of my life.
To say that he is missed is the undertatement of the century. Does anyone know how his wife and children are now?
