So Much for that "Philadelphia Freedom..." [video]

Developments in the New Black Panther Party voter-intimidation case from Philadelphia should come as no surprise. A quick recap: on election day last year, several members of the New Black Panther Party, one of whom was a credentialled Democratic Party poll watcher, stationed themselves at a polling station in Philadelphia. They dressed in military-style fatigues, at least one brandished a club, and they engaged in "coercion, threats, intimidation and racial threats and insults." The men used racial epithets and boasted that a black man was going to be president. The government suspected voter intimidation, a violation of federal law, and took the men to court. The defendants refused to cooperate, not even bothering to show up, let alone offer any defense. They were guilty by default. Right up until the Justice Department pulled a "never mind" and DROPPED ALL CHARGES against them. On election day 2006, Democrat poll watcher Carlos Mantos decided his district was 100% Democratic, and therefore Republicans had no business even showing up. So he banned Republican poll watchers from the polls and thought so little of this that he boasted about it to a TV crew. Mantos's actions drew no sanctions whatsover. Given that precedent, it's no great surprise that last year, the Black Panthers could show up and intimidate voters without the least fear of legal reprisals. And nothing will come of any of it - at least, not from the Obama Justice Department.

Obama and his Attornry General, Eric Holder, have completely and arbitrarily dismissed guilty charges against a group of black thugs who physically threatened and verbally abused potential voters at the polls. If we imagine the blacks were whites and the events took place in rural Mississippi, circa 1950 - what would have been the reaction of the blacks? I guess elections do have consequences - some of them very bad.

It’s another Obama political pay off.

If that had happened at my polling place these guys would have been moved violently. They know which polling places to go to.

I'm thinking that the next election is going to be particularly brutal.

The vote fraud machine has massive taxpayer funding, voter intimidation has been given a free pass, Democrat Secretaries of State can arbitrarily count or discount any votes they choose, the media will never tell the truth about candidates, etc.

Howard Dean said the Dems should be able to hold on to power for at least 40 years. In the Soviet Union, the Commies (Dems) held power for 70 years.

It's definitely going to be an uphill battle.

So, if I live in a 100% Republican polling place, and I can get a black Republican to do the same thing with me, then it’s OK?

I think now that we know Obama has politicized the Census we can expect even worse. That’s why that Republican from N. Hampshire Obama appointed to Interior quit. With phony cansus numbers and the “estimates” that are going to be made, it will be a disaster - especially since those census figures determing the number of House members, districts, etc.

Not a problem... it may just be what needs to happen to get honest elections back.
