There are very few performing late term abortions. The heirs probably want to preserve the cash flow.
Thank you for saying this! I've asked the same thing on other threads, and have never gotten an answer. The whole point of an abortion at that stage, according to the pro abortionists, is that it's done to save the life of the mother. Well, my question is how on earth is that saving the life of the mother since the largest part of the baby has ALREADY been born! At that point it would seem the life of the mother is NOT a problem.
A very interesting trend. I'd be curious on seeing a study that looks into the causes of this decrease. It's known that Americans on the whole are less approving of abortion than in the past. I wonder if it is social stigma or simply advances in technology that make doctors more aware and averse to the practice.

Exactly! Killing a child because it has something wrong with it is very wrong. If they decide they don’t want the child why not just put it up for adoption, if it will only live a short while why not let God decide how long that is rather than put them through the pain of killing via abortion?
How is it possible for a “human being” to call it his mission to murder fully developed infants just prior to birth. There are truly monstrous beings out and our civilization is a party to this horrible outrage. I wonder when the powers to be will decide that there will be a mandatory euthanasia for all above a certain age...... God help our civilization!
Exactly. The point of third trimester abortions is not to protect the health of the mother. If that is a concern, the baby can be delivered early. Thousands of doctors are willing to induce labor and end a pregnancy early if the health of the mother is at stake. The baby is delivered prematurely and sent to the neonatal nursery where doctors work to save the baby's life.
What Tiller and his cohorts were doing was insuring that the baby did not survive. No wonder there aren't many willing to do that.

You bet---but that's the excuse given. I just wish someone would ask this question of a late term abortionist, and get an answer. I cannot even imagine what answer he could give to support the action.
The other thing is why would someone wait until the third trimester to have an abortion. It would seem to me that if a woman waited that long, she had the intention of delivering. I truly believe, until shown otherwise, that the only "life threatening" scenario is strictly an "Oh I've changed my mind" one.
Bottom line is I'm sure you're right, but that doesn't explain the lame excuse given of "protecting the life of the mother". That's already been shown to be a lie.
That's the only excuse they have. They're not going to admit why they really do it.
