David Duke’s opinion about Jewish extremism should not be interpreted as a willingness to aid any muslim terrorist attack on US. That article was a flimsily constructed and lame attempt to broach the Jewish Holocaust again and who in the western world did not recognize that?

It’s not like he was making an issue of the USS Pueblo or the 9/11 dancing Isreali’s captured on film.

What news accounts I’ve read about him during the time he was news provided little reason for me to think he was anything more than a lightening rod with a twist. He had his message and the balls to proclaim it and it gained a following for him.

But implying that any of what’s left of his supporters would consider helping muslim terrorists carry out such an act after years of political ineffectiveness not only abuses the right of Americans to believe in what was once American individualism it also serves to help further diminish what should be considered by all Americans, one of our Nation’s most cherished traditions, the Militia.

Please read what I surmise is a leftist’s view of the American Militia movement during the clinton years http://www.publiceye.org/rightist/dj_mili.html and then visit http://www.committeesofsafety.org to get an idea of the broad path of American Militia activity today.

It’s about restoring the Republic not contributing to its demise.

So... the USS Liberty story should just go away?

It’s been a couple of days and no one has questioned the incorrect USS Pueblo reference.

And while it just aggravates me no end that in this post-Bill of Rights USA I have to include a non-racist, non-anti Semite disclaimer, here it is. I’m not a racist nor an anti-Semite.

I thought I’d include the USS Liberty Memorial’s website disclaimer, too. Don’t want anyone out there to think the surviving crew members are using their non-event tragedy as an opportunity to spread hate.

From http://www.gtr5.com/

The USS Liberty Memorial web site abhors the racist and extreme positions taken by antiSemitic, Holocaust denial, conspiracy theorist and other such groups which often seek to identify with us and to usurp our story as their own. We have no connection with and do not support or encourage support from any of these groups including National Alliance, National Vanguard, The New Order, National Socialists, The French Connection, Liberty Lobby, American Free Press, Republic Broadcasting, AFP’s Liberty Radio Hour, or other such groups. We wish harm to no one and encourage social justice and equality for everyone; we seek only accountability for the criminal acts perpetrated against us and can do that without help from hate-mongers.

On the Israeli side, the group of pro-Israel, anti-American critics of our story, while small, persists in launching loud, vicious ad hominem attacks on anyone who attempts to discuss the deliberateness of the attack. These anti-American apologists refuse to discuss the facts of the case. Instead, they rely on propaganda and charge anyone who questions the Israeli position with being antiSemitic.

For detailed and authoritative accounts of the power and influence of the pro-Israel lobby, please see The Israel Lobby and US Foreign Policy by Mearsheimer and Walt and The Pro-Israel Lobby by Edward Herman.
