... and well, I know! I thanked you guys before, and will continue. I recognize the work it takes. It is that dedication to your "Nascar love" that makes it happen.
For one more take on things...
He didn't play TV robot or hat dancing cardboard cutout with a smile. He let it all hang out, smashing with glee the Sam Bass painted Gibson guitar that serves as the winner's trophy at Nashville.
Yet, reading the words that have been used to describe Busch's display, not only on internet message boards, but by respected journalists, one would think the 24-year old Joe Gibbs Racing driver had just driven over Ryan Newman's dog and then punched Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s mother in the face.
Busch smashed a trophy that was given to him. It was his trophy to do with what he pleased and he decided to break it up in pieces so each member of his team got their own chunk of it. And he put on a show doing it, harkening back to the heyday of American rock and roll in the process.
Sadly it speaks volume for just what big time NASCAR racing has become that Busch's show of emotion proved to be the hottest topic and most attention grabbing aspect of the sport over the weekend.
It surely wasn't exciting, dramatic NASCAR racing that fans were talking about come Monday. Anybody talking about what a thrilling event the Sprint Cup Series put on Sunday at Pocono Raceway?
Busch put on a show, one that won't soon be forgotten. That's something that can't be said about the racing product NASCAR has been offering on the track. The fact is, Busch, NASCAR's villain du jour, is the show at the top of the sport today. He was the show at Daytona in February, putting on a host of thrilling moves before getting taken out of the event. In 2009 he's been the show in the Truck Series, the show in the Nationwide Series and the show in the Sprint Cup Series.
And Saturday he put on the show in victory lane that got more attention than any racing action all weekend.
NASCAR needs Busch's emotion, on and off the track. In the oversized vat of vanilla yogurt that big time NASCAR racing has become, Busch is the swirl of bitter raspberry that is so desperately needed for some flavor.
Call him petulant, call him a punk, call him whatever, just make sure he's in the show because the one that so many like to describe as a brat, and a baby and a whiner is one of the few left out there showing the true and raw emotion that once made NASCAR so different than anything else out there.
Now here's hoping Busch wins later this year at Martinsville Speedway, we'd love to see just how tough those grandfather clocks really are. - Courant.com
I tried TB, as worn out as I was I really tried. I could have used the good news.
Who knows though, I may need it more later on.
It is also your "right" to trample the American flag.
I wouldn’t mind seeing the Busch BoyZ become team owner / drivers, getting sponsors shouldn’t be a problem in a year or two if the economy comes back strong. Kurt is already 30 or close,, Having a guy like Keselowski would make for a competitive team for quite a few years. Logano is another one to watch and signup, Joe may not let him go too easy if he continues to do well, a very repectable so far this year.
As they say, these rookies can drive these days..
And that right/ability is brought to you by the very same people we keep these threads going for. :)

Dude , Thanks!
WE slave for hours here.
as for ‘Nascar love’ .. We hope to bring a little flavor to the online reporting and have fun doing it.
Besides, it beats mowing the lawn and picking ticks out of the dog’s ears... ;-)
A ‘Raspberry’ used to also mean something other than noted here, I think. I hate yet I understand the “villain’ angle, I guess he’s just a little too dastardly for me, him and Digger. ;-)
Cigar time, back in a bit, New thread is up
you are a hater of the Jr Nation...
— more than a few of them around.. but they are out-numbered by a wide margin. :-)
Goodnight, and enjoy your cruise, eh!
Cruising is the only way to go, these days. It is the best value in travel and leisure. Lately, I've seen them charging as little as $40-50 a day (inside), even on some of the Med and AK trips. Food, entertainment, and everything else considered, it works for us. Proud member of Celebrity Captains Club since 1994. These guys were our Dining crew. The one on the right (matre d.) has been on three different ships we shared. Service with a smile... and the cleanest ships around!
I don't hate Jr. or his nation. I think they malign anybody they don't like.
I was a proud member of the Senior fan club for many of the same reasons I like Kyle. I don't really care for some his off-track antics, sometimes, but I respect his talent. There in NOBODY better right now. DE, Sr was also at the top of THE game.
Fans buy tickets, and rivalry makes fans buy more tickets. It's easy to get upset about things. But, life isn't about Nascar to me. It is just a niche that whiles away a few hours, and satisfies my need of entertaining. I got onto these threads, and it has actually increased my fervor for the sport.
Junior is not his Daddy. Junior has a name, and some money behind him. But, with all of his advantages, Kyle has overshadowed not only him, but the best of the best. Junior is a nice guy, but we all know about "nice guys". If Dale, Sr was still alive, his kid might possibly still be on the wall.
I am a KyBu fan, for sure. But, it won't change my life if he wins or loses. It just gives us something to talk about! My brother has been crowing about Tony all week. I'll crow just as hard if MM or Carl or Joooooeeeeeyyyy goes across the finish line first!
I think Joey still has his intact...
Enjoy. I'll hope to see you on the new thread...
Yes Brad has a bright future. He has said he will be in Cup full time next year.......where will be the question.
Truex should be announcing shortly the move to Waltrip - why was my first question.
I’m wondering about Stewart-Haas and if they will take on a third team next year. Some good level headed talent is available.
Despite myself, I like Mikie and wish him and his company success. I keep hoping Waltrip would do better, but at least his company doing well is even if he currently isn't their best driver. MWR has definitely improved this year and sooner or later they'll get a non-rained out win. They will have earned it.

Link to a good story on Truex.
I bet Bass Pro Shop goes with him which will be a big blow to E-Ganassi
Mikey is toying with driving part time next year.
