I don’t watch TV, but I did see most of the trailers on the internet.
I’m sure they cherry picked the best stuff for those.
“V” was shot at my ex-city, Vancouver BC, Canada. My cousin works in the biz in Vancouver and from what he told me, the crew was chuckling when the writer insisted that “hope” be used more with “enthuusiasm”. (True story)
All one of these networks needs to do is to go conservative and they will get support going through the roof.
Ah, but I suppose it easier to stay on the path to destruction. Not
The desire to “appear to be brilliant” is first and foremost in every lib’s mind. And to “appear to be brilliant”, you have to spout nonsensical liberal drivel/doctrine in the most erudite and incomprehensible language possible.
Mike Judge BUMP!
Elizabeth Mitchell fighting the apostles of the Obama. Whoa, baby.
The ratings were worse than some of the shows on the CW...that's bad.
I watch virually no television, except what is on when my wife is watching, and she really only watches Law and Order. Otherwise, it’s NetFlix for everything. However, I did watch this show, because I read about it here last week. My opinion is that it is not side-splittingly hilarious, and not even completely funny. But the treatment of the subject matter is far overdue, and was bound to happen sooner or later.
I’m sure there are thousands and thousands of people who are liberals, facing the threats of a poor economy, and finding out how uncertain the future can be for those who are not lucky enough to be in the elites. The dose of reality, and the lack of a God to pray to, will be a fire hose of ice cold water to the face, and I think some people may be waking up. Hope and change are ephemeral and spiritual terms, but the manifestation of them in reality as they are turning out is probably quite sobering.
Humans tend to divide into 3 groups. They are either all the way right, all the way left, or ambivalent. All of politics in Americas is getting the ambivalent to move one way or another. The all the way left uses the media to move the ambivalent towards them, and it is effective as long as stomachs are full and houses are warm. But when stomachs start growling, and people have to take shelter under plastic tarps, the ambivalent will move the other way.
I’m hoping that the show gets a little funnier, and with the wealth of available material, it’s bound to.
I just looked at your about page and this show fits your locale perfectly.
terribly sad
