Anybody know how well made an Airbus is? I don't know, but in Nov 2001(?), a rudder broke off shortly after take off.

Well the biggest problem with Airbus is that their controls are all electronic, fly by wire. No hydraulics for back up in case of electrical problems

Anybody know how well made an Airbus is?Long-time pilot and FAA mechanic here...I and my pilot type friends make it a habit not to fly Airbus...take that for what it's worth.
