When they were discussing this on KLBJ several weeks ago, some Austin city official said they wanted some of the repairs to be made before the sale. I don’t know if that was before or after the final version of the ordinance.
They might try to do that in the future, but for now, it’s for disclosure purposes only.
And you can avoid having to do it by participating in the Austin Energy Free Weatherization Program! Wheee!!!
