Yes, he was extremely nuts. People forget that in the 60s he and Barbara Hershey lived in a cave in Griffith Park for a few years. That's when they were doing so many drugs no one thought they'd live thru it. They wore flea collars, never bathed and Hershey changed her name to Barbara Hershey "Seagull" because she felt the soul of a dead seagull enter her body one day at the beach.

At Writers Guild and Screen Actors Guild meetings he would have his girlfriend raise her hand, get called on, then he'd jump up and give a 45 minute drunken speech till he was dragged off.

He was reduced to doing these cheapo, direct-to-video pics shot in Thailand and Bulgaria.

His agent, friends and family all say that he was great spirits, booze and drug free for years, happy to be working, happily married, just bought a car and about to begin filming a movie. And they found him dead at a Thai luxury hotel, hung with a drapery cord, naked, in a closet and are calling it "suicide"?

What are we missing here?

Doesn't sound like a candidate for suicide to me, more like a man who had a new lease on life and everything to live for.

Didn't he have three fairly young children with his new wife? His oldest son Tom with first love Barbara Hershey is 36.

A motive and a perpetrator, for starters.

IF it turns out he was murdered, I hope they catch the guy and do likewise to him!

Did a little research. He has three children, one son, two daughters with previous wives. None with Annie Bierman, his widow.

Yeah, this is such a shame. I really like “Wild West Tech”. It is a very interesting show. He was very good in it. He also played in some pretty good made for TV westerns along with his brother Keith. He’ll be missed.
