Actually, I think Bruce Lee tried to sell it to the studio and they said no, but decided to pick it up based on a white man learning to be a Kung Fu master. They liked that line better. But it did end their friendship.

This has always been a deterrent to me for committing suicide. Once when I was a younger gal, back when the internets was new, I perused some old police photos of people who had committed suicide. All I could think is “IS THAT HOW PEOPLE LOOK???”
Sadly, my brother committed suicide 10 years ago, but that’s when I realized when you are that distraught with life, you just don’t care how you are found.
I don’t think this was suicide though, I think this was autoerotic asphyxiation like the guy from INXS.

He was a hippy. This has been going on for years, especially in some freaky parts of town.
We discussed this very thing in my Criminal Justice class and I had no idea how often this happens! And apparently how much people like the high it gives while orgasming and oxygen deprived. But there is a thin line between life and death.
