Thine Eyes - A Witness to the March for Life [AWESOME DOCUMENTARY]
ThineEyes.org ^ | Jack Cashill - Producer

Posted on 06/04/2009 11:45:55 PM PDT by cpforlife.org

The murder of abortionist George Tiller cannot be condoned. Neither can accusations of Pro-life 'terrorism' be condoned. The crime of one unaffiliated man does not speak for the Pro-life Movement. But this documentary does...

Watch the entire film or see segments below.

"To the degree that we can get this documentary in front of the audience is the degree which we can correct the image of the Pro-Life Movement in America." Jack Cashill, Producer

From http://www.cashill.com/ With regard to the death of abortionist, George Tiller, the American people and those around the world will have to decide for themselves.

The creators of Thine Eyes ask, do the actions of one unaffiliated criminal speak for an entire movement, or do the actions of hundreds of thousands speak for themselves?

In response to accusations of so-called pro-life terrorism, the producers of Thine Eyes have posted for free the documentary, "Thine Eyes: A Witness to the March for Life" at www.thineeyes.org.

"If you want to see the true face of the Pro-life Movement, watch Thine Eyes," -- Jack Cashill.

Thine eyes have seen my unformed substance; And in Thy book were all written the days that were ordained for me, When as yet there was not one of them.

The following represents the basis for why we produced this documentary:

• Prolife entities and events such as the March for Life cannot rely on mainstream media coverage that might otherwise show the world their important, lifesaving and life changing events, programs etc.

• The prolife movement as a whole is constantly in need of vital resources, financial as well as time and talent.

• The tide is turning with young people in the United States who more and more espouse prolife views and beliefs.

• The many thousands of individuals who work tirelessly to end abortion, many of whom were first inspired by participating in the March for Life, need recognition, praise and support for their efforts as a means to inspire and push them and others onward to a day when abortion is illegal and unthinkable.

This documentary film provides a firsthand view of the spirit of the March for Life and its participants.

To accomplish this goal a team of professionals has been assembled to produce a high definition film of this significant event:

They are Steve Sanborn, Executive Producer – Jack Cashill, Producer – Mike Wunsch, Outpost Pictures, Director – and actress Jennifer O’Neill, Narrator.

The film specifically does four things:

1. Provides accurate and artistic coverage of the 36th annual March for life to be shared with the world via DVD, Christian television networks and on YouTube. A sub-point to be made here is that mainstream media presence and coverage is tracked in this film.

2. Includes a fund raising appeal component on behalf of the prolife movement in general. Viewers must know that the prolife movement raises roughly $50 million annually while our opponents raise billions. This film inspires prolife people to give time, talent and treasure to the prolife cause.

3. Raises awareness about the March for Life and the prolife position, with a specific target – young people – with a message that is strictly based on the “conception to natural death” position.

4. Provides a visual resource to prolife organizations, schools, churches and any person or organization that wishes to make use of this resource.

A packed house at the Rio Theater in suburban KC gave “Thine Eyes” a rousing, standing ovation last night. What follows are the first two unsolicited emails I received. They are the norm:“WOW, what a movie. I thought it would be a “home made” video but was I surprised. That was a very professional, emotional, thought provoking, beautiful piece of work. I was so surprised that so many young people were so involved in the cause.”

“You and your colleagues have made a powerful movie. There are many of us who are very grateful for the time, effort, sacrifice and vision you have devoted to this great cause.”

We also raised nearly $5,000, a good first step as we have a long way to go just to pay for this one, let alone to set up a regular fund for future productions. Thanks to Outpost Worldwide for their understanding.

As we have seen in the premiere and the two sneak previews, the live audience feels a certain emotional contact with the marchers. For all the good things I head about the videography, the roof top shots, the time lapse photography, the music and Jennifer’s compelling narration, the viewers keep coming back to one thing: the passion, the sincerity, and the simple eloquence of the young people we profile. They read these virtues into the faces of even those who do not speak on camera.

To the degree that we can get this documentary in front of the audience is the degree which we can correct the image of the pro-life movement in America. If anyone has access to such an audience, please let us know.

Jack

Yes!! “Thine Eyes” was shown by Steve Sanborn last night here in Spokane, at Gonzaga University’s Cataldo Hall. It was wonderful and inspiring! If you can’t see it in your locality, please get the DVD. This helps support the group that produced the film. They hope to do more of these documentaries and, Lord knows, we need them!
