Nashville, N.C. — Some parents say Nash Central Middle School has become a battleground with student fights in the hallways and bathrooms. Concerned for their children's safety, parents filled the Nash-Rocky Mount school board meeting Monday evening.

We have had large pockets of our country that were 3rd, indeed 4th World for some time in our ghettos and much of the rural south (particularly amongst a certain ethnic group in the case of the latter). WTF do we keep importing more poor people (with the active support of the Churches) to add to the problem anyway?

A principal who who claims to have no idea that her students are out of control? It looks like a racial thing: black principal, out-of-control black students, and white parents. The parents should file hate-crime charges. That will get some attention.

The children are just lashing out . . .venting their rage against the obvious racist motives of the white parents and the white children. The Principal said she had no idea that her students were out of control because they are not out of control. . .what else should they be doing in response to the vicious attacks of the white society against them?

This shows how far our publik skuuls have regressed.

1. Ya don't fight on or in the skul grounds, numbskulls.
   
2. You plan the fight for after 9th period. (Or wheneever skuul is over)
   
3. You fight in an alley at least 1½ blocks away from the skuul.
   
4. When you're both there - plus 50 or so onlookers, then you get it on.
   
5. BUT! If 'Mr Burke' shows up you all run like hell.
6. And the next day when Mr Burke calls you into his office you deny you were even near there.

Mr Burke was our HS Assisatnt Principal and NOTHING snuck past him. He could smell a fight was on and where. And even if a Drag Race was planned near school. (I think he had super natural powers.)

I swear, for 4 years it Mr Burke's mission in life to track me. Even after school he'd pop up where I was on occasion (again, super natural powers??). For years I couldn't figure if he hated my guts, or liked me and wanted to keep me out of trouble

The only thing that would happen “in a minute” would be that you’d be sued for looking at a “minority” crosswise.

It appears the kids don’t need those rules. The principal is turning a blind eye to their unacceptable behavior.

Any principal who claims to be unaware of fights going on in her school and then blames the parents for not telling her sooner is incompetent.

I don’t know if the incidents shown on the video were racial or not. But, many here are mistaken if you really believe this is solely a “black” problem.

My two older sons both have been shoved around mostly by white kids they thought were their friends. I know we’ve all had racial experiences. And I understand we base our opinions on our experiences. Maybe I was just lucky growing up being shoved around by kids of all colors. ;-) But fighting and violence is an issue that affects everyone.

I have always taught my kids to not start any fights, but to always take their part or they would get in trouble. I have also taught them that when they come us against two or more and have to fight, fight as hard as possible and inflict as much damage as possible and that there are no rules in such a fight.

I have also told them when outnumbered to let the punks know, hey you may kick my butt now, but you will not always have your friends with you and that one by one you will be paid back, at a time of my choosing.

What would these adults do if this happened at their work? Hm?...Would they sue their employer and be awarded millions? Would these parents quit and find a safer workplace?

So?....Why do adults put children in an environment that would be considered “harassment” or assault and battery and then tell the children that it is good for them? A worse lie is that the kids somehow need to learn to deal with the “real” world. In the real world adults would be calling 911 and suing their employer, and/or finding safer working conditions.

It is unbelievable that parents would subject their children to this environment for even one minute.

There really are schools so that are sooooooo horrific that it would be better for the child to get **no** education whatsoever than ever step foot in the school door.
