God is God. it's only when you deny His existence that mortals grasp for these false substitutes. And that goes to the whole point of Christianity, at least on a functional level. If the "here and now" is all that there is, then anything goes, and nothing is wrong or immoral.
If there is no God, then there is no reason to lead a moral life.

I believe that this consistent 'passivity' by B.O. is going to allow us to be hit 10,000 times worse than 9/11. Call them what they are Mr. Hussein; "Terrorists" don't give a damn about "Moral Authority". That was the most disgusting 'partial transcript' I've read in years. Just when you think it can’t get worse . . . This Obama worship by the media is just bizarre, completely bizarre. But guess who boycotted Obama’s Cairo speech? The leaders of the Egyptian pro-democracy movement. Why? Because they see Obama for what he is - a slick talker who will do nothing to further the cause of freedom in the Middle East.

And just as they finally got the "People's Temple" sign removed from the Chrstian Church where Jim Jones first set up shop in Indianapolis, we have Evan Thomas struggling to put on the demonic presence that precipitated that horrible journey.
