Perhaps a more pertinent question might be: What kind of church embraces and admires Tiller’s murderer ??

“Perhaps a more pertinent question might be: What kind of church embraces and admires Tiller’s murderer ??”

1) No church embraces and admires Tiller’s murderer because he has been in custody since the day he did it.
2) Can you be any more liberal?

How is that MORE pertinent? You mean, because it was more wrong to kill Tiller than for Tiller to kill all those babies? (Wagglebee, how many babies are we talking here?)

I don’t know.

What church has embraced and admired his murderer? None I agree with.

Again, how is that more pertinent? What makes the murder of Tiller more important than the 60,000 murders Tiller bragged about committing?

“Perhaps a more pertinent question might be...”

Perhaps you can find some sympathetic columnist arguing in favor of Churches that admonish “a narrow list of rules” in regards to justifying Roeder's murdering act, post that article and your trollish crap would THEN be pertinent to the actual thread at hand. All you looke like is some attention starved toddler trying to change the subjerct in a much incongruous manner.

In the case of Tiller, Christ gave the rules on how to address unrepentant sinners, likewise to Roeder. Any Church embracing those "unrepentants" as well as excusing their actions are deemed damned (Read the first several Ch. of Revelations.

Perhaps a more pertinent question might be: What kind of church embraces and admires Tiller’s murderer ??

What church is doing that?

And why would it be more pertinent?

How is Roeder's act more heinous than Tiller's slaughter that you think that it's more pertinent to question a church that "embraces and admires" Roeder than a church that "embraces and admires" Tiller?

We're talking one murder of a serial killer verses 60,000 murders BY a serial killer.

What kind of church would embrace and admire Tiller? No church that God is part of, that's for sure.

What kind of church embraces and admires Tiller’s murderer ??

Since you asked - Is there some specific church you know that actually supports his murderer?

And while we're at it, what kind of church embraces and admires a man who has killed 60,000 unborn children?

My first reaction is, a church who is grateful for the (blood) money donated by Tiller.

How's that sport?

Tiller kills 65000 babies many of which were later term and viable and a Reformed Lutheran Church makes him a deacon.

Some guy kills a very guilty of baby killing Tiller and you're handwringing about that shooter's church if he even had one.

Your logic is whacked.

what the heck are you doing on this forum anyhow?

I haven't heard that any church embraces or admires Tiller's killer. If you hear of one I hope you'll post it and ping me.

Dr. George Tiller was not only an outstanding physician and a notable Christian, but he was a persuasive teacher as well. He apparently inspired Scott Roeder with the key element of his working philosophy: if you want to get somebody out of the way permanently, a severe head trauma will generally do the job.

I don’t recall seeing anything in my church’s bulletin this weekend that celebrated tiller’s murderer.

As a matter of fact I don’t recall hearing any church say that it thought that it was a good thing.

If you find one that has, let me know.
