Spickets is a pretty common “misspelling”. It drives me nuts but a lot of people use the word. It's not "misspelling" in quotes, it's a misspelling. A real, honest-to-goodness misspelling.
People should learn from their errors and correct them. I am sick and tired of our language being incrementally destroyed because people are too lazy and/or proud to write correctly.
