Mr. Tulyakov's editorial in Pravda is not very well-informed. But here is something to consider along with Pravda's recent criticisms of Obama.

Gorbachev was the last leader of the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (CCCP). Obama is trying to be the first leader of the Union of Soviet Socialist America (USSA).

If someone supports Obama policies, they are supporting socialism. It is that simple. And that goes for Republicans in DC who try to "get along".

Only if it is allowed.

Personally I believe this lil dictator has bitten off more than he can chew and it is soon going to bite him in the butt.
The msm can only alter and shadow so much before the truth WILL break free.

Obama may well succeed in running America into the ground. But, as opposed to the USSR, we have a working model of success to fall back on, namely, free but regulated capitalism and a constitutional republic with democratic traditions. We had what works. It doesn't always work great, but over time it always works better than socialism.

Once people realize that there is no recovery, and the point of Change is to spread the wealth until it is a uniform coat of poverty, we may simply have learned a very valuable lesson about the role of government at the cost of our national greatness. At this point, it may be the only way to make that lesson. It will be a painful one, and it may well bankrupt us.

Still, a poor nation can learn dignity, self-respect, and self-reliance. As a rich nation, we have lost that, and perhaps now is the time to regain it.
