“The only things happy with the weather around here are the artichokes!”
That’s for sure, the wife has been getting some of the best artichokes we’ve had in years!
Sadly the summer chokes are the annual kind, they just don’t have the meaty, arti-choky goodness of the perennial plants. But on the bright side, at least there are ‘chokes in summer!
The lettuce on my normally searing balcony, could
continue to thrive all summer long, under these
conditions.
